Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all purchases from Makuku Kids (“we”, “us”) through makukukids.com. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Orders and pricing
All prices are in South African Rand [and include VAT]. We’ll confirm your order by email, and the sale is complete when we dispatch it. If a book is unavailable or incorrectly priced, we’ll contact you and offer a refund or an alternative.

Payment
We accept Card Payments, QR Code Payments (SnapScan). Payments are processed securely by PayFast, and we never store your card details.

Cancellations, returns and refunds
Please see our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In addition to our 14-day returns, you have a 7-day cooling-off right to cancel any online purchase.

Delivery
Please see our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Trade and custom orders
These terms apply to retail purchases through our online store. Orders from stockists, golf clubs and academies, including Home Course Collection editions, are covered by separate quotes and agreements.

Product safety
Our books contain stickers and small paper parts. Adult supervision is recommended for children under 3.

Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy.

Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies.
